Metro Exodus is an exploration and survival horror first-person shooter from 4A Games. The title is the third of the Metro franchise, being preceded by Metro 2033 and Metro Last Night. The game was released in February of 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.

Story and Background

Inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Exodus continues Artyom’s story, in 2035, one year after the events of Metro Last Night “Redemption” in post-apocalyptic Russia. A few thousand survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow, in the metro tunnels. This scenario presents itself a quarter-century after nuclear war devastated the earth. As a result, people must fight poisoned elements and other threats to keep living.

And that happens after you and your companions fought mutated beasts, paranormal horrors, and suffered the flames of civil war. Now, without knowing what may face ahead of you, it is time to go on this incredible story-line that spans an entire year.
